As part of the *Independence Day Celebrations 2026* , AECS Magnolia Maaruti Public School organized Essay Writing and Painting Competitions for students of *Grades I to V* on 23rd July,2026, providing a meaningful platform for young learners to express their patriotism, creativity, and vision for the nation's future.
The Essay Writing Competition was conducted on the inspiring theme " *Viksit Bharat"* , encouraging students to reflect on their dreams and aspirations for a developed, inclusive, and progressive India.
The Painting Competition was held on the thought-provoking theme "India 1947 vs India 2047", where students creatively illustrated India's remarkable journey from Independence to its vision for the centenary year of freedom. Their vibrant artworks beautifully portrayed the nation's rich heritage, technological advancements, environmental consciousness, and hopes for a stronger and more sustainable future.

We are thrilled to share that *Shubham J. Trivedi of Grade X* has once again brought glory to our school by emerging as the *Champion* in the *Boys' Under-17* category at the *3rd Karnataka State Table Tennis Ranking Tournament*, held in *Belagavi* from *23rd to 26th July 2026*.

The championship witnessed the participation of *552 players* across various categories. In the *Boys' Under-17* category alone, *68 players* competed, and *Shubham secured the Championship title*, making him the *No. 1 ranked player in the Boys' Under-17 category*.

Adding to this remarkable feat, Shubham also secured the *Bronze Medal* in the *Boys' Under-19* category, competing against older and highly skilled players.

🚨 *Disaster Management & Basic Life Skills Session by NDRF* 🚨

In alignment with the *CBSE guidelines* on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), *AECS Magnolia Maaruti Public School, Bengaluru*, organized an enriching *Disaster Management and Basic Life Skills Session* on *23rd July 2026* at the school premises.

The session was conducted by a distinguished *9-member team from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India*:

The NDRF team conducted highly interactive and practical demonstrations on *self-rescue, mutual rescue, first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), emergency response, evacuation techniques, and safety measures* during both *natural and man-made disasters.* Students and teachers gained first-hand experience in handling emergency situations through hands-on drills using specialized rescue equipment and demonstration materials.

The session successfully enhanced awareness about disaster preparedness, resilience, and life-saving skills, empowering participants to respond confidently and responsibly during emergencies. The enthusiasm and active participation of students and staff made the programme highly impactful.

*Grandparents Bring the Story of Ram Navami to Life*

Eye Check-up Camp Promotes Healthy Vision at AECS
As part of its commitment to student and staff well-being, AECS Magnolia Maaruti Public School organized a comprehensive Eye Check-up Camp in collaboration with Shekhar Eye Hospital from 13th July to 17th July 2026 at the AECS campus.
The camp aimed to promote awareness about the importance of eye health and early detection of vision-related concerns. A qualified ophthalmologist conducted detailed eye examinations for students and staff, assessing their vision and overall eye health. Participants received individualized feedback along with recommendations for follow-up care and preventive measures wherever required.
This health initiative reinforced the significance of regular eye screenings in ensuring better vision, improved learning outcomes, and overall well-being. A Health Check-up Camp was conducted on 9th to 13th July 2026 for students of AECS MMPS from Kindergarten to Class XII by the nursing students' team from AECS Nursing College. The health screening included measurement of height, weight, and other general health parameters to monitor the overall well-being of students. The initiative aimed to promote health awareness and encourage preventive healthcare practices.Students became aware of the importance of maintaining good health and regular medical check-ups. The activity emphasized healthy habits, personal hygiene, and the importance of monitoring physical growth and overall well-being.
The health check-up was well-organized and beneficial. Parents and staff appreciated the initiative, and the collaboration with AECS Nursing College ensured a smooth and comprehensive health screening for all students .The program was aligned with SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being: Promoted preventive healthcare, health awareness, and overall student well-being. The tournament witnessed the participation of *366 students from 124 schools* from across the CBSE Cluster VIII region. With this outstanding achievement, *Shubham has qualified for the CBSE National Table Tennis Championship*, which will be held in *October 2026 in Gujarat*.
