As part of the IDT (Innovation, Design and Thinking) Induction Programme, Mr. Abhishek conducted an interactive session that began with engaging activities to enhance students' concentration and participation. The students actively participated throughout the session, making it highly informative, interactive, and motivating.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by the Principal,Dr. Dilip Kumar K, who provided an overview of the college, its infrastructure, facilities, achievements, and opportunities, and explained the institution's rules and regulations while emphasizing discipline, academic integrity, and active participation in academic and co-curricular activities. The Dean (Academics), Dr P N Sudha, then briefed the students on the academic regulations, examination system, Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE), Semester End Examination (SEE), attendance requirements, and other important academic guidelines, helping them understand the academic framework of the institution.

The session also highlighted the significance of daily exercise, responsible use of digital devices, stress management,students emotional well being and maintaining personal hygiene alongside their studies.

The event was scheduled on *13-17th july 2026* and Professor Ravishankar.R, Professor of Practice (AI & ML Dept.), Ex-Director-Data Science, Honeywell International Inc. Bangalore was the resource person.

The KSIT-IPR cell organized a workshop on “Protecting Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and IP Management for Start Ups” for 4th semester AI & ML and MCA students. The event was scheduled on 12-05-2026. Mr. Nagarjun M. G. IP Agent & Consultant, IPTeL, IISc, was a resource person. ನಲ್ಲಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತಪಾಸಣಾ ಶಿಬಿರ

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕನಕಪುರ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಉಯ್ಯಂಬಳ್ಳಿ ಹೋಬಳಿಯ ನಲ್ಲಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆ.ಎಸ್. ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವತಿಯಿಂದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸೇವಾ ಯೋಜನೆ (NSS) ವಿಶೇಷ ಶಿಬಿರ “ಸಮನ್ವಯ – ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಧ್ವನಿಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಕಲ್ಪನೆ” ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಉಚಿತ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತಪಾಸಣಾ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಲೇಜು, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹಾಗೂ ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ “ಆವ್ಯಾ” ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಪತ್ತೆ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ವ್ಯಾನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಸೇವೆಗಳು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆ, ರಕ್ತದ ಒತ್ತಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ, ಹೃದಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ತಪಾಸಣೆ, ಕಣ್ಣು ಮತ್ತು ಗಂಟಲು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಸ್ತನ ಮತ್ತು ಗರ್ಭಕೋಶ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ತಪಾಸಣೆ, ಮಧುಮೇಹ ಹಾಗೂ ರಕ್ತಹೀನತೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ, ಶ್ವಾಸಕೋಶ ಮತ್ತು ನರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕುರಿತು ವೈದ್ಯರು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಸಲಹೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನೇತೃತ್ವವನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸೇವಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ನವೀನ್ ವಿ ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, NSS ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಶಿಬಿರದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು. ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಶಿಬಿರದ ಸದುಪಯೋಗ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಜನತೆಗೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ ಈ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿಸಿದರು.
