STEMBIBE 4.0 @ IISc Bengaluru

Our Teachers from ICT Department participated in STEMBIBE 4.0, held at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, on 26 September 2026.

The event brought together educators and school leaders to explore emerging possibilities in STEM Education, Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on developing future-ready skills among students.

Such professional learning opportunities enable our educators to stay abreast of emerging technologies, exchange ideas and bring meaningful innovations into the classroom.

Students of Grade 10 for the first time represented Daffodils English School at HPE CodeWars India 2026. Competing alongside young coding enthusiasts from across the country, they collaborated, solved challenging programming problems, and gained invaluable experience in logical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving.

At DES, we believe that every challenge is a stepping stone to greater learning. We are proud of our young coders for embracing the experience with confidence and enthusiasm.

Learning Through Play!

Our Grade 2 students had a blast exploring the concept of force through a fun hands-on STEAM activity! Using a balloon, a cylindrical launcher, and clay balls, they created a simple balloon-powered launcher. By pulling and releasing the balloon, they discovered how the force of moving air can propel objects forward.

Activities like this spark curiosity, encourage experimentation, and help young learners connect scientific concepts with real-world experiences in an exciting and memorable way.

Learning Through Play!

Our Grade 3 students had a wonderful time participating in an engaging Desktop Computer Puzzle Activity. The young learners were challenged to arrange puzzle pieces to recreate the picture of a desktop computer, making learning both fun and interactive.

The activity not only helped them identify the parts of a computer but also enhanced their observation, problem-solving, logical thinking, and hand-eye coordination skills. With great enthusiasm, the students eagerly completed the challenge and celebrated their success.

At our school, we believe that the best learning happens when curiosity meets creativity, turning every activity into a joyful learning experience!
