Children enjoying toy making at Samvida! Experiential learning of science, even without knowing it as "science". Joy of doing it by themselves.
Though the small kids might not understand the science concepts fully now, it certainly helps them get a much clear understanding when they start studying science at a later stage.

ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಿನ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಬಹಳ ದೊಡ್ಡದು. ವಿದ್ಯೆ ಕಲಿಸುವುದಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೇ, ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚ್ಚಾರಿತ್ರ್ಯ ಮೂಡಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ರೂಪಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಿನ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಅನನ್ಯ. ಗುರುಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯ ಶುಭಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂವಿದಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಗುರುಪೂಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ತಯಾರಿಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಾಮೂರ್ತಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಪಾರಾಯಣವೂ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು. ರಾವುಗೋಡ್ಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೆಲವು ನೋಟಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲಿವೆ.

Children at Samvida regularly involve in terrace gardening. They sow the seed themselves, monitor it everyday and enjoy nurturing the plants. You can see a sense of accomplishment on their faces 😊
