Diwali/Deepavali _ the festival of lights is celebrated with great pomp and fervor across all faiths in India. It is celebrated to mark the return of Rama to Ayodhya after defeating the demon king Ravana. It symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and light over darkness.
We celebrated the festival with lot of fun, dance, sweets. Children came in their ethnic best and soaked in the spirit of Diwali.
