Rotary Interact Installation Ceremony – 2026–27

The Rotary Interact Installation Ceremony 2026–27 was held today, 29th August 2026, at Vedam School, Kalyan Nagar, marking the beginning of the second year of the Interact Club at the school. The programme was graced by PP Rtn. Krishnarjun C. N., Deputy District Interact Committee Chairman, as the Chief Guest and Installing Officer, with Mr. Padmarju Vuppalapati, CEO, Vedam School, as the Guest of Honour. The presence of Rtn. Sudhakar R., Vice President, Rotary Club of Bangalore Ulsoor, Rtn. Capt. Dr. Suresh Raghavan, Director – New Generation Service, RBU, Rotarians, school leadership, faculty and student interactors added significance to the occasion. The newly appointed office bearers were formally inducted, inspiring them to embrace leadership, service and social responsibility in the year ahead.

On Monday, 17th August 2026, the students of Grades 5 to 10 of Vedam School had the wonderful opportunity to visit the iconic Vidhana Soudha, accompanied by their teachers. The visit offered the students a unique glimpse into the functioning of our state legislature, as they were taken inside the Assembly Hall to witness the live proceedings of the Legislative Assembly. Watching the Hon’ble Ministers and elected representatives speak and participate in the proceedings was an enriching and memorable experience for the children. The students were fascinated to see democracy in action and gained a deeper understanding of how important decisions concerning the state are discussed and deliberated upon. The visit was not only educational but also inspiring, leaving the students with a sense of pride, curiosity, and a greater appreciation for the democratic institutions of our country.
