We are delighted to share that Advik Ayansh of Grade V participated in the SIMOC 2026 (Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge), held in Singapore from 17th to 22nd July 2026.

Advik’s participation in this prestigious international mathematics challenge is a commendable achievement and reflects his enthusiasm for mathematics, dedication to learning, and willingness to take on global academic challenges.

He was presented with a Certificate of Participation in recognition of his participation in SIMOC 2026.

We congratulate Advik on this achievement and wish him continued success in all his future endeavours.

NPS ITPL is actively observing Anti-Bullying Week from August 17, 2026, to
August 21, 2026, engaging students in various activities. The week-long initiative
focuses on fostering kindness, inclusivity, and a safe learning environment for
everyone.
Students have enthusiastically participated through various creative and educational
activities:
1.Students Corner Displays: Under the guidance of their class teachers, all
sections of Grades 9–12 decorated their classroom corners with anti-bullying
posters, quotes, articles, and moving poems.
2.Multimedia and Discussions: Grades 9 and 10 attended special video
sessions during their HE/VE classes, followed by classroom discussions
analyzing the impact of bullying and ways to prevent it.
3.Expressive Arts: Students brought the message through powerful artwork,
while several students expressed their perspectives through mime and role-
play performances.
4.House Board Display: The Ignis House board prominently features an anti-
bullying display, serving as a central visual reminder of our collective
commitment to standing up against bullying.

Our KG-2 students stepped into the Discovery Studio, where learning transformed into a joyful journey of exploration, curiosity, and discovery.

Through engaging sensory experiences, students explored their five senses, developed their observation and listening skills, and discovered new ways of experiencing the world around them.

The studio came alive with curiosity, excitement, laughter, and joyful learning, making the experience both meaningful and memorable.

National Public School, ITPL, hosted an enriching scientist interaction session for the students of Grades 9 to 11 on the 11th of August with Dr. R.R. Venkatesha Prasad, an academician, researcher, innovator, and educator with expertise in wireless communications, the Internet of Things (IoT), cyber-physical systems, AI for communication networks, robotics, and space technologies. He is an Associate Professor at TU Delft (Delft University of Technology), Netherlands. His work spans research, technology, entrepreneurship, mentoring, and international collaborations with ISRO and European research initiatives. The topic of discussion was - Space and AI with an informative Q and A session. The interaction proved to be a valuable and memorable learning experience, inspiring students to explore AI and technology with renewed curiosity.

“A little rhythm, a lot of curiosity, and endless possibilities.”

KG-I and KG-II students enjoyed a joyful musical exploration, discovering how everyday objects can create interesting sounds and rhythms.

With utensils, plates, spoons, handmade shakers, and a teacher-crafted Jal Tarang, students experimented with sound, rhythm, and movement in a fun, hands-on experience.

The activity encouraged creativity, coordination, attentive listening, and an appreciation for music, while filling the learning space with rhythm and cheerful energy.

A beautiful experience where curiosity turned ordinary objects into instruments and learning into music!

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with immense pride, enthusiasm, and patriotic fervour at National Public School, ITPL on 15th August 2026.

School Heads, teachers, staff members, and students gathered early in the morning to honor the sacrifices of our nation's heroes. The solemnity of the occasion was highlighted by the ceremonial unfurling of the national flag, followed by a disciplined and crisp March Past led by the student houses and accompanied by the energetic rhythms of the school band.

The cultural program featured captivating patriotic group songs sung in melodious harmony, featuring students dressed in vibrant traditional attire. A dynamic street play vividly depicted the journey of India’s freedom struggle, bringing historical sacrifices to life with power and emotion. The celebrations culminated in a series of graceful and expressive group dances, with students performing in traditional wear, symbolizing unity, progress, and national pride.

Known for her captivating fantasy, mystery, and humorous fiction for children, she offered students an inspiring glimpse into the world of storytelling, creativity, and imagination. Her diverse professional journey, passion for writing and travel, and commitment to nurturing creativity have shaped her unique perspective. She is also the founder of 'Manoshi', a creative thinking centre in Naukuchiatal near Nainital, dedicated to fostering imagination and innovative thinking. During the session, Ms. Ilika shared fascinating insights into her journey as a writer and the process of transforming everyday experiences into compelling stories. She encouraged students to observe the world around them, embrace their imagination, and discover the joy of reading and writing. The session offered a valuable opportunity for students to engage with literature and gain a deeper understanding of creative expression.
