The IIHS Academic Outreach team continue to travel across the country, meeting with colleges and universities to raise awareness of the interdisciplinary Master’s and PhD programmes offered by IIHS University. They were in Hyderabad last week, engaging with principals and senior faculty, and discussing the need for more young practitioners to discover rewarding and meaningful careers in the urban.

Over the course of a week, the IIHS Academic Outreach team engaged with academic institutions across Karnataka, Gujarat and Maharashtra.

The sessions were designed to inform the institutions and students about the programmes offered by IIHS University, and the career trajectories they lead to. Each session saw students demonstrating keen curiosity and strong interest in the areas of Sustainability, Climate, and Urban Studies.

The institutions welcomed and acknowledged the need for interdisciplinary master's programmes, offering their support for IIHS' outreach efforts, and sharing their
interest in exploring collaborations in areas of mutual academic interest.

An open blind in direct sun adds heat that the AC then has to fight. The energy used could have been avoided by a simple shade. The best-designed building can be made wasteful by daily habits that nobody has stopped to notice.
