In the fifth-grade classroom, a sense of wonder filled the air as students transported themselves back in time to the era of early humans. Inspired by their understanding of the evolution of humankind, these young minds did a hands-on project to recreate the articles used by our ancestors using clay. They set out to shape clay into a variety of artifacts, reflecting the ingenuity and resourcefulness of our ancient forebearers.

Using their hands and simple tools, the students moulded clay into items such as pottery vessels, stone tools and weapons, cooking utensils, figurines, and even caves. They gained a deeper appreciation for the skill and craftsmanship required to create these objects without the aid of modern technology.

GREENWOOD HIGH STUDENTS EXCEL AT NATIONAL SCHOOLS TEAM CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 - PONDICHERRY

Shraddha Somanath (Grade 10) of Greenwood International School, Sarjapur, won the individual Gold Medal for her best performance of 100% Score at the 1st National Schools Team Chess Championship 2023 held at Pondicherry.

Vrishav V (Grade 9) won the Bronze Medal for his best performance.

Overall, 115 teams from various parts of India took part in this Mega Event.

Four teams from Greenwood High took part in the event. Two Teams in Under 18 Category and 2 Teams in Under 12 Category.

Snippets from the Healthy eating class party conducted by Grade 5 Science department.

We are very pleased to share that Arjun Malik, Grade 4A, has achieved School Rank 1 and International Rank 2 in the SOF International Math Olympiad Level II exams conducted at Greenwood High.

The International Rank 2 – Gold Medal and Certificate of Distinction for Performance Excellence at the Zonal Level is the most prestigious award that SOF has to offer to its top winners.

We congratulate him on this achievement and wish him the very best going forward.

We are delighted to share that our Grade 11 IBDP student, Amishi Agrawal, has recently published two of her research projects at IEEE and the ITM Web of Conferences.

The papers explore the intersection of math, computer science, and biology and proposes the classification of chest x-ray scans and brain tumors through deep learning based CNN and hybrid aquila optimizers respectively.
