Congratulations to Nyima Lama!
Selected to represent Karnataka in the Group Poomsae event, Nyima showcased exceptional skill at the 15th National Junior Poomsae Taekwondo Championship 2025, where Team Karnataka earned the Bronze Medal.
Poomsae, a disciplined sequence of strikes, blocks, and kicks, increases in complexity with each level. While a First Dan Black Belt requires mastery of nine Poomsaes, Nyima learnt three additional advanced Poomsaes up to the Fourth Dan level for this Championship.
Proudly, he stood as a key member of the Bronze Medal–winning Karnataka Group Poomsae Team.

At the College Board India Forum 2025, our Vice Chairperson Dr. Bindu Hari joined a panel of leading educators to share insights on how schools can nurture student wellbeing alongside academic excellence.
She spoke about guiding parents to balance involvement with independence, empowering teachers to respond to students’ emotional needs, and helping young people build resilience early on. Dr. Bindu emphasized that wellbeing must be woven into learning itself, through thoughtful teaching, supportive communities, and classrooms that value balance as much as achievement.
At TISB, this belief drives our approach to education, where balance, empathy, and excellence go hand in hand.
