Judge It! The budget symposium organised by ARTHASHASTRA-The Economics Society Of NMIMS Bangalore, turned out to be an exuberant event. The participants put up great presentations, which were followed by a heated round of rebuttal. Everyone's effort and knowledge was highly appreciated by the judge.

The Economics Society was honoured and delighted to have Dr. Marie Joseph Gerard Rassendren for a guest lecture. Arthashastra feels privileged to gain all the knowledge sir imparted upon us during his visit. It is indeed necessary to know the history of our subject.

Arthashastra-the economics society of NMIMS Bangalore was honoured by welcoming Dr. Charan Singh for the guest lecture. He addressed the students on the topic of demonetisation which was followed by an interactive round of question and answer.

On 22nd December, 2016.. ARTHASHASTRA-was officially inaugurated by esteemed Prof. Dr. RS Deshpande and the director of NMIMS Bangalore, Dr. Suresh Mony.

The art of 'doing economics' was the topic of the guest lecture on which the professor of ISEC addressed the crowd. It was followed by a healthy discussion between the students and Prof. Deshpande which proved to be very fruitful.
