Here’s useful vocabulary list used for vehicle damage

Damage – Physical harm to the vehicle
• Impact – Forceful contact causing damage
• Collision – Vehicle hitting another object/vehicle
• Accident – Unplanned incident causing damage
• Wear and tear – Gradual damage from normal use

• Dent – Small inward bend on the body
• Scratch – Light surface mark on paint
• Scuff – Abrasion caused by rubbing
• Crack – Split or fracture (plastic, glass)
• Chip – Small broken piece of paint or glass

• Peeling paint – Paint coming off the surface
• Bent – Out of original shape
• Misaligned – Parts not properly positioned
• Broken – Completely damaged or split
