T. John Institute of Management & Science (TIMS) had successfully organized a campus drive on 12 December 2019 at our campus. The company which was visited is New AgeSys Solutions Pvt Ltd. The campus drive was for MBA students for the position of Resource Specialist. The campus drive started with welcoming Mr Jingle Raphael, General Manager (Placements and Recruitment), Mr Anand Murali, HR Associate, New AgeSys Solutions Pvt Ltd and Dr Shailesh G, Principal of TIMS.
Mr. Anand Murali started the session by briefing about the company and interaction with the students. The process of interview and all the details were shared to students. The interview process started with individual interaction and group discussion followed by a personal interview with the HR. The company selected and hired three students for their company.

Outbound Training - TIMS

T. John Institute of Management & Science (TIMS) in association with New You Solutions had organized a student outbound training to MBA students on 06 December 2019 at Eagles Unbound, Off Kanakapura Road Bangalore. The objective of the outbound training was to inculcate innovative thinking, develop interpersonal skills, team building, adventure-based learning, family bonding etc. All the students along with two faculty members arrived at Eagles Unbound. The training started with orientation and safety briefing and followed by team building activities and games under the guidance and instructions of Ex-army officers and best outbound trained staff. All the students were involved in adventurous activities like Zipline, wall climbing, Rope course, Archery and Shooting. All the students enjoyed the training and learnt the ways to develop leadership strategies and implement the same in their personal life. All the activities were linked with practical learning. The students enjoyed the evening rain dance and snacks which were arranged in the training centre. The programme ended with words of appreciation and life lesion by Ex-Army officer. All the students were praised for their efforts to involve in all the group activities and individual events. New You Solutions handed over a certification of recognition to college along with a memento.

TIMS Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

NSS Cell of T. John Institute of Management & Science (TIMS) in association with BBMP 194 Ward and Trendy Warriors had organized a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on 16 November 2019 in Weavers Colony, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore. It was a cleanliness drive to bring the awareness of Swachhta in the environment where we live and work. All the students of B.Com, BBA and MBA participated in the event and also the program was graced by Bangalore South MLA M Krishnappa, BBMP 194 Corporator Lalitha Narayan, Dr. Shailesh G, Principal, TIMS, Mr. Karthik P, Assistant Professor & NSS Coordinator, teaching fraternity of TIMS, Health officers, BESCOM and BWSSB officers

TIMS - Campus Drive on 08.11.2019

T. John Institute of Management & Science (TIMS) had successfully organized a campus drive on 08 November 2019 at our campus. The company which was visited is Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd. The campus drive was for MBA students for the position of Officer-Sales. The one day drive witnessed the participants from TIMS. Totally 33 students participated in the drive. The campus drive started with welcoming Mr. Thilak K Rao, Assistant Vice-President, Business HR and Mr. Balaji, Cluster Sales Manager, Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd.
Mr. Thilak started the session by briefing about the company and interaction with the students. The process of interview and all the details was shared to students. The interview process started with personal interview with the HR. The company shortlisted 12 candidates and they will go through face to face interview in the Bangalore branch.

TIMS - Campus Drive

T. John Institute of Management & Science (TIMS) had successfully organized a campus drive on 04 November 2019 at our campus. The company which was visited is Jaro Education, an ed-tech Company. The campus drive was for MBA, BBA and B.Com students for the position of Trainee-Career Development. The one day drive witnessed the participants from TIMS. Totally 64 students participated in the drive. The campus drive started with welcoming Ms. Sakshi Pant, HR, Jaro Education. Ms. Sakshi started the session by briefing about the company and interaction with the students. The process of interview and all the details was shared to students. The interview process started with group discussion followed by personal interview with the HR. The company shortlisted 3 candidates and they will go through face to face interview in Jaro Education, Bangalore office.

TIMS - National Unity Day

T. John Institute of Management & Science (TIMS) in association with NSS cell of the college celebrated the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on 31 October 2019 to commemorate and pay tribute to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. The main objective of the day was to promote national integration among citizens of the India as well as maintain the unity and integrity of the country. All the students, faculties and non-teaching staff assembled and the program started with introducing about the special importance of the day and introduced the achievements of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Ms. Rajni Gupta addressed the students regarding the importance of the day being celebrated as National Unity Day. Mr. Karthik P, NSS Coordinator made all the students, staff to take the pledge of unity and suggested to promote the harmony and unity at colleges and universities to achieve integrity in the nation.

"T. John Institute of Management & Science (TIMS) had organized a career and personality development training in association with Gillette to all the UG and PG students on 24 September 2019. The objective of the training was to help the students of all years to gain knowledge on ‘How to develop a smart & confident personality’ through a series of activities. The topics covered in this training was career and personality grooming, body language and understanding the basic Psychology, positive mannerism and dress code, tips on interview handling skills"

"T. John Institute of Management & Science (TIMS) had organized a pledge taking session “Pledge for life – To***co free youth” on 24 September 2019 to spread the awareness of consequences of consuming to***co and its related products. Dr. Shailesh G, Principal, TIMS addressed the gathering and suggested “Say No to To***co” and protect their lives to lead a happy life. All the UG and PG students attended the session and the NSS Coordinator, Mr. Karthik P explained the importance of pledge taking session and made all the students to take pledge".

"T. John Institute of Management & Science (TIMS) observed World Environment Day on June 05, 2019 for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of our environment. It was an opportunity to raise awareness and promote action on national environmental issues. Principal, HOD, all the faculties and students planted over 30 saplings in the college campus"

Topic: BAT-A way forward to enter BFSI Sector

T. John Institute of Management & Science organized a Guest Lecture on 31st May 2019 between 10:45am -12:00pm at Room No: 202 on “BAT-A way forward to enter BFSI sector” for the students of MBA II. The session was conducted by Dr. S Chandrashekar, Banking and HR Consultant, Bangalore.
