Our studio is more than a room filled with brushes, clay, and colors.
It’s a space where children make their inner worlds visible — experimenting, creating, and building a bank of experiences that sharpen their thinking and problem-solving.
But at its heart, the studio is simply a place to be.
To be curious.
To be expressive.
To be unapologetically themselves.

"How early do you start sexuality education? The same way you ask—how early do you teach a child to swim? Or to cross the road safely?
At The Atelier, we believe these conversations begin early, in age-appropriate ways—helping children build awareness, ask questions, and keep themselves safe.
This year’s workshop with Anju Kish, founder of , was all about bursting myths, refining scripts, and strengthening the dialogue between children and parents.
Together, we grow into a community where children learn to be aware and parents become the safe, askable adults they can turn to."

Still thinking of development as a straight line of “milestones”?
At the first parents' workshop of the year, we reflected together with the parent community.
It was never linear. It’s a cycle—spiraling deeper each time.
It’s about the questions children hold within at each stage, the instincts that drive their behavior, and the way we, as adults, can show up to truly support them.
And just like for children, this cycle continues for us too—layer after layer, moment after moment.

Who is a mentor?
Not a "Master," but a co-learner.
Not in control, but guiding children to take ownership of their learning journey.
A mentor doesn’t seek the “right” answer but values the process, effort, and obstacles overcome.
This relationship is not built on fear or judgment but on trust, mutual care, and respect—a deep connection that nurtures growth.

Reflecting on the year so far and planning for the final quarter, we revisited the topics like supporting children’s inquiry, concept-based learning, interdisciplinarity, and our role in creating safe spaces for children to make meaning and spark new thinking. Here’s to an inspiring re-start!
