“Peace is our very nature, and yoga leads to inner peace," as quoted by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
On 22 June 2026, the school observed International Yoga Day with the theme "Yoga for Healthy Ageing." The programme commenced with the prayer “Sangachadwam…”, followed by warm-up exercises. The yoga session began with the practice of various yogasanas as per the Common Yoga Protocol, accompanied by soothing music and the chanting of “Om.” The session concluded with a short meditation and mantra chanting, creating an atmosphere of peace and mindfulness.
Our Principal, Smt. Mamatha Raviprakash, addressed the students and explained the significance of International Yoga Day. She highlighted how Gurudev's efforts contributed to the global recognition of yoga and played a significant role in promoting the observance of International Yoga Day worldwide.
