There was a time when I felt emotionally distant, almost numb.

Even in moments that should have meant something, I couldnโ€™t connect. Everything feltโ€ฆ muted.

๐Ÿ’ญ Thatโ€™s emotional numbness when lifeโ€™s highs and lows feel out of reach.

Sometimes, I struggled to name what I was feeling at all.
Thatโ€™s called alexithymia, when emotions are hard to identify or express.

Other times, my reactions were flat even when I knew I should feel more.
Thatโ€™s blunted affect, when your emotional expression is dampened.

And then came those unpredictable shiftsโ€ฆ
