An artist is blessed to find grace and vision walking beside their art. My association with Mrs. Nita Ambani has been one such journey guided by her deep sensibility for aesthetics and her beautiful commitment to presenting India’s finest traditions to the world.

To be part of her curation and .india’s vision through Nritya Sangam — a confluence of Kathak, Bharatanatyam and Odissi- and to share it with the Honourable Prime Minister of Canada and his gracious wife, was a moment of profound pride.

In an artist’s life, certain moments don’t just become memories… they become quiet turning points of the heart.
My heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Nita Ambani and Mr. Mukesh Ambani for this honour. 🙏

Saakamma 💕
Saakamma means Sakuva Amma — the one who nurtures.

When we say “support staff”, we forget the quiet love they bring into our lives.
I feel truly blessed to have Saakamma-she feeds me, waters my plants, keeps flowers ready for my prayers,
and fills my days with care and warmth. ನನಗೆ ಅವರು ಕುಟುಂಬ.

Together we try new recipes, laugh, and share stories.
ಈಗ ಅವಳು ನನಗೆ ಅಜ್ಜಿಯಂತಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

ಕಾಳಜಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಇದೇ.

If you really think about it, everyone has a dance story. Not always performed on stage. Not always with music. But it’s there, in the way we learned to move through the world. In how we navigated joy, survived pain, celebrated, grieved, waited, reached.

Some stories are loud - spinning, leaping, defying gravity. Others are quiet - a soft sway in the kitchen, a hand on a shoulder, a body learning how to be present again.

⁣Dance doesn’t ask to be perfect. It just asks to be honest. And in that honesty, it becomes⠀
part of the story we tell, with or without words.⠀
