Numeracy-walk on the big number pattern tile
Children first picked a number card and identified number pattern tile on the floor. Once they found the correct tile, they walked on the big number pattern tile counting each steps aloud.

This fun hands-on activity helps learners to recognize number, improves counting skills, develop one-to -one correspondence, builds balance and coordination through movement.

Independence Day was celebrated as “Freedom shapes our future, wisdom guides our way” at Podar Prep Plus Jayanagar.

Children at Podar Prep Plus follow a ritual to celebrate their birthdays by doing the "Birthday Walk" based on Maria Montessori's concept, a socio-emotional experience of celebration.
It is a unique way to make children understand about the rotation of earth, a walk around the sun, globe in hand, to signify the passage of one year of life and friends cheering on by clapping hands and singing birthday song.
