Hi!!

We would like to thank all of you for showing your trust in the services offered by Aarambh Foundation!

The year 2020 was a testing period for everyone in different ways. Work in schools and offices became work from home; play in school and parks became play at home; and most importantly learning with each other became online. We all were forced to learn applications that till then were confined to people working in offices.

The success came in the form of students learning the use of online learning requirements and doing most of the activities that happen in a classroom -- reading, typing, copying, art, math, functional math, playing games, puzzles etc.

The missing link in all this is the outdoor play and the actual feel of your friend sitting next to you!

As teachers, we had to learn to adapt our teaching. It has been an 8-month fun ride with a lot of hits and misses. But we all made it together.

Many students want the physical class and many want the online classes to continue... Let's wait and watch were the virus takes us. But we do know for sure that it cannot stop us from learning!!

Education and Lock Down!

Online sessions, home-based plans for lock-down days, talking verbally or non verbally with some of our students... This has become our new norm!
We are working from home and we are learning to connect to parents and students through video conferencing, chats etc.
Who would have thought in 2019 that 2020 would bring in online education as a possible method in the field of special education!
I am definitely not enjoying the lock down period (I also understand that it is important to be at home and have minimal outside contact), but this has bought in a new learning for many special education teachers.
It is challenging times for every one. And this is also challenging and enhancing our capacity as a teacher.

Stay healthy and stay safe!
