Wishing you all a Happy International Dance Day! ✨

For us, dance is something we hold close, shaped over time through practice, patience, and quiet commitment. It is not always seen, but always felt. To everyone who continues to pursue this path with sincerity and dedication, today is a celebration of that journey.

Presenting moments from our recent performance at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

The Chowka represents a perfect balance of weight and geometry. In this session, our students explore the transition through different Layas (tempos).

Increasing speed is not just about moving faster, it is about maintaining the clarity of the square stance (Chowka), precision of the hand and torso movements, and the overall aesthetics of the art form.

These steppings enable the dancer to develop intricate footwork and choreographic awareness as they begin learning pieces from the Odissi repertoire.

Presenting “Dheera Sameera”, an Ashtapadi from the timeless Gita Govindam — performed by our Creative Director, Smt. Sarita Mishra, at the 24th Ekamra Nrutya Mahotsav, Bhubaneswar.

Through abhinaya, she brings alive the delicate poetry of longing — where every gesture breathes the ache and tenderness of Radha’s wait for Krishna.
