Rest can look different for everyone.

For some, it might be stepping away from a busy day. For others, it might mean slowing down enough to notice what their mind and body have been asking for.

The important part is finding moments that help you shift out of constant doing and back into being present.

This National Relaxation Day, we've put together “Pause & Reset”, a series of guided practices you can return to whenever you need a little space to slow down.

Explore the Pause & Reset series through the QR code in the post.

Save it for a day when you need it. You don't have to wait until you're overwhelmed.

Young people don't all grow up with the same opportunities, pressures, resources, or support.

But across very different realities, many are still hoping for the same things: to feel heard, to have meaningful opportunities, to belong, and to feel hopeful about the future.

This International Youth Day, “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations” invites us to look beyond assumptions about what young people should be able to handle and pay attention to what they actually need to thrive.

Sometimes supporting young people starts with something simple:
▪️Listen before you advise.
▪️Ask before you assume.
▪️Make space before you expect answers.

What is something you wish adults had understood better when you were growing up?

Sometimes, losing a role can feel like losing yourself.

A job.
A relationship.
A title.
A version of life you thought you’d have.

But maybe you aren’t starting from scratch.

Maybe you’re just rediscovering the parts of you that were always there. 🤍

You are allowed to outgrow roles.
You are allowed to begin again.

Not every Sunday needs to be productive.
Not every Sunday needs to be restful.
Somewhere in between is also okay. 🤍

There is no one way to do a Sunday, just a kinder way to meet yourself in it.

Part 1 got us thinking about the advice we often accept without questioning.
But there are more familiar phrases that can sound helpful while leaving very little room for context, complexity, or individuality.

So we're continuing the conversation.

Because sometimes, growing doesn't mean finding better advice.

It means becoming comfortable enough to ask, "Does this actually work for me?"

💭 After Part 1, which piece of advice have you found yourself questioning lately?

Ever stared at a simple task… and just couldn’t start?

Not because you didn’t want to.
Not because you were lazy.
Just because your mind was carrying more than anyone could see.

Sometimes, it was never about the laundry. 🧺💜

If this resonated with you, save it for the days that feel heavier than they should, and send it to someone who needs the reminder too.

Have you ever caught yourself repeating advice you've heard for years... without stopping to ask whether it's actually true?

We all carry beliefs that have been passed down through family, friends, culture, and lived experience.

Many are helpful.
Others may have been true once but no longer fit who we are or what we're going through.

Growth isn't just about learning something new.
Sometimes, it's about giving ourselves permission to question what we've always believed.

This is the first post in a two part series where we revisit some of the most common pieces of advice through a psychological lens.

💭 What's one saying you've heard all your life that you've started to see differently?

Validation and agreement are often confused, but they're not the same.

You can understand why someone feels the way they do without agreeing with every thought, belief, or conclusion they've reached.

Sometimes, the most supportive thing we can do isn't to offer advice or prove someone wrong. It's to help them feel heard first.

Because when people feel understood, they're often more open to understanding themselves.

💭 Swipe through to explore the difference between validation and agreement.

Most of us have good intentions when someone opens up to us.

We want to comfort them, reassure them, or help them feel better.

But sometimes, the words we choose can unintentionally make someone feel unheard.

It isn't about saying the "perfect" thing. It's about creating conversations where people feel safe to be honest about what they're going through.

Sometimes, the most supportive response isn't advice. It's making someone feel understood.

💬 Swipe through and reflect:
What's a response that has made you feel genuinely heard?

Love isn’t meant to feel like fear.

Sometimes, we mistake anxiety for love.
We call constant apologising “being understanding.”
We call walking on eggshells “keeping the peace.”
We convince ourselves that if we just try harder, things will get better.

But healthy love doesn’t ask you to shrink yourself to be accepted.

It allows room for honesty, boundaries, respect, and emotional safety, even during disagreements.

Today, on National Love Is Kind Day, let’s redefine love, not by how much it demands from us, but by how safe, respected, and valued it makes us feel. ❤️

✨ Save this for a day you need the reminder.

💚 Share it with someone who deserves to know that love should never hurt more than it heals.
