My dear friends from Silchar,
Please encourage your children, nieces and nephews, younger brothers and sisters to join the Handwriting Competition to be held on 28th July, 2024 (Sunday) from 10 AM.

Competitions such as this are extremely beneficial for boards-appearing students as they can relax a bit yet have to complete a 300 word passage within an hour, without getting the feel of the exam.

Participants have to see and write from a passage. Own handwriting is okay - straight or cursive or mixed. What we are looking at is beauty and accuracy of writing, spellings, neatness and time management. They need to bring a writing board and stationery items. Paper and passage will be provided.

The last date to register for this event is tomorrow for ₹80 entry fee. On the spot enrolment is available with an entry fee of ₹100.

Saatatya Foundations presents Enlightor Aptitude Test for students of classes 1 to 10.

Post Office Day: The generations before the 1990s were very well aware of the Post Office and its services. How we waited for the Post man to come and deliver letters, parcels and Money orders! It was fun to collect stamps ~ A popular hobby called Philately in those days.

Today's world has fast-forwarded to Information Technology with fast messaging and communicating ways. To encourage writing amongst our young students, we had a Special Assembly on World Postal Day.

Children wrote letters to their parents and had an audio visual session on its history. We also got the opportunity to felicitate one of our parents who is associated with the Post office.

Sharing some moments of the day with you.

Animal Wellfare Day doesn't mean just one day. We have to make sure we take care of other animals too. After all we share the planet together.

A cleaning drive of the school campus was organised by the teaching and non teaching staff of Flying Colours Academy on Saturday to honour the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan on the Occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
