Recipe for simple Rammed Earth Foundation. A foundation in earth is far more seismically proof than any other kind of footing. When the sub strata allows it and so does the soil quality , why not use it to its advantage? Cement is good but how much ? Let’s make it simpler because nothing is more Sustainable than the Simple. When the client expects a specific color, the soil gets sourced from a distance and it defies the purpose of an ecological building. As a client you can choose more consciously.
