Research and Experiential Learning on Urban Forest and Climate Change
To inspire, educate and enable sustainability – Leading the Change through the power of
Citizen Scientists.
Programme Objectives:
*A Citizen Science Initiative for documenting the diversity of trees in Bengaluru.
*Map the carbon stock of trees in the urban environment.
*Help increase the understanding of the ecosystem benefits trees provide.
*Provide communities with participatory management tools to more effectively manage their trees.
*Contribute towards the goal of climate change mitigation and action.
