Podar International School, Bengaluru-1 (ICSE), proudly organised its Investiture Ceremony 2026-27, a significant milestone for our newly elected School Student Council members who went trough a democratic process of election. The students of Grade 6 to 10 participated in the voting. The ceremony marks the beginning of a new journey of leadership, responsibility, and service.

The ceremony was graced by our esteemed Guests, Dr. Lava M.B., Dr. Manjula , Shri Durga Prasad, General manager Mr. Surendranath, Principal Mr. Ramesh Chandra Panda whose inspiring presence motivated students to strive for excellence and lead with confidence and integrity.

The event was also attended by Vice Principal Ms. Pavithra Avinash, PJK Headmistress Ms. Arundhati, Senior Administrative Officer Mr. Prakash, Coordinators, parents, teachers, and students.
The graceful dance performances and the motivating songs by our talented students, march past by the Student Council members, the enthralling performance of school band group, the inspiring speeches by our esteemed guests were the the main attractions of this celebration.
The newly elected Student Council members were formally invested with badges and sashes, symbolizing their commitment to uphold the values and vision of the school. The Principal administered the oath to the newly elected Student Council members. Addressing the gathering, he encouraged the young leaders to lead by example, embrace responsibility, and inspire positive change within the school community.

At Podar Prep, Symphonics is our whole-language, phonics-
based literacy programme which helps children understand
how sounds come together to form words.

Instead of making reading feel like memorisation, Symphonics
introduces language in a way children can hear, recognise,
practise and slowly use with confidence.

With the help of classroom tools, rhymes, cards and
interactive activities, children begin building the early skills
needed for reading, writing and language development.

🎤 Mind to Mic – The Courage to Speak Up,
The students of Grades 8A, 8B, and 8C of *Podar International School BANGALORE ICSE* captivated the audience with a powerful and motivational skit on the theme *"Mind to Mic – The Courage to Speak Up."* Through their confident and engaging performance, the students highlighted the importance of expressing thoughts freely, standing up against wrong practices, and sharing ideas without fear.
The skit carried a strong message that *every voice matters* and that true courage begins when we choose to speak up for what is right. The thought-provoking presentation inspired the audience to embrace self-expression, build confidence, and believe in the power of their own voice.
The students beautifully demonstrated that positive change starts when individuals have the courage to communicate their thoughts and opinions.
Adding further inspiration to the event, our respected Principal Sir encouraged students to speak with confidence, trust their abilities, and use their voices to make a meaningful difference in society. His motivating words reinforced the values of courage, leadership, and self-belief.
The skit was a wonderful reminder that empowered voices can inspire change, foster understanding, and create a brighter future for all.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, on 5th June, Podar International School (ICSE) conducted a special assembly and proudly organized a Tree Plantation Activity to promote environmental awareness and inspire students to contribute towards a greener and healthier planet.

Through this meaningful initiative, students learned the importance of protecting nature, preserving biodiversity, and taking responsibility for the environment. By planting saplings today, they sent a message to build a sustainable future for tomorrow.

Podar International School, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru (ICSE) warmly welcomed the students of Grade 1 and Nursery with great enthusiasm and positivity for the new Academic Year 2026–27 on 25 May 2026, as they returned to school after the vacation break.
To mark the beginning of the new academic year, the school conducted a special assembly to warmly welcome students back to campus. The assembly was graced by the presence of the Principal and teachers, creating an inspiring and cheerful atmosphere for the students. The event featured a beautiful classical dance performance, adding joy and vibrance to the occasion.
The school premises were filled with excitement, cheerful smiles, and renewed energy as students, teachers, and staff came together to embark on a new academic journey.

The Principal and teachers felicitated and congratulated the high achievers in Grade 10 ICSE Board Exams. The Principal also felicitated the dedicated teachers under whose guidance the students performed extremely well. He welcomed all the new students and congratulated the achievers.
