A Proud Moment for Meghshala!

We are delighted to see Meghshala’s work featured in Vijaya Karnataka!

A recent Parents’ Meeting and SDMC Training Programme at Government Higher Primary School, Maralukunte, brought together parents, SDMC members and teachers to strengthen community participation in education and support the holistic development of schools and students.

This recognition is a wonderful encouragement for everyone who works tirelessly to make quality education accessible.

Our heartfelt congratulations to the entire Meghshala team, our school partners, parents and SDMC members who made this initiative possible. ❤️

During a visit to Nimtar JHS, Sikkim, our implementation team member Milan Chettri supported a Grade 3 teacher in migrating to Meghshala’s new app, with its enhanced features and updated Nepali lessons.

The visit also gave Milan an opportunity to observe the classroom in action. Surrounded by Sikkim’s beautiful greenery and filled with enthusiastic young learners, the classroom offered some truly inspiring moments.

Through our partnership with HCL Foundation via the HCLTech Grant, Meghshala’s Teacher Enablement Program now reaches all 771 government schools in Sikkim.

We thank HCL Foundation and the Government of Sikkim for building India’s future, one teacher, one classroom at a time.

In collaboration with Meghshala Trust, employees from Western Digital came together for a meaningful employee engagement initiative, creating Math and English flashcards for students in government schools.

Crafted with care and intention, these learning resources have now been distributed across 3 government schools where Meghshala is actively working, supporting teachers and helping students strengthen their foundational learning.

Because sometimes, small actions—like a flashcard, can spark big learning. ✨

In the spirit of International Mother Language Day, celebrated on Feb 21st, we are reflecting on a meaningful journey in Sikkim.

With the support of the HCLTech Grant and the Department of Education, Government of Sikkim, Meghshala created 1,600+ digital lessons in Lepcha, Limbu, Bhutia, and Nepali, reaching nearly 700 government schools across Sikkim.

This initiative was about more than lessons; it was about ensuring that languages carrying the stories and traditions of communities continue to live on in classrooms and in the voices of the next generation.
