Takshashila Institute of Indian Studies [TIIS], inspired by the first University of the world - Takshashila, aims to promote study and research, and facilitate diffusion of India’s heritage in multiple domains including Philosophical thought, Knowledge & Skill traditions, Yoga, Literature, Art and Culture. Further, TIIS intends to act as a bridge between Indian and Western civilizational value systems to facilitate mutual understanding, respect and co-operation for progress of humanity.

Concluded my 4 day teaching intensive at the Faculty of Contemplative and Behavioral Sciences, Sri Sri University yesterday. The sessions were quite demanding in terms of time and attention extending from 10 am to 5 pm in the evening involving reading, discussing and making sense of concepts and terminologies that students were not necessarily familiar with. Yet, the interest and enthusiasm with which the students and faculty participated was remarkable. Enjoyed every bit of it.
