So we have started to work on our skills.

We have been reading as usual. Never stopped that but this time did one step more.
I have noticed cause of schools being closed his writings have definitely reduced and focus is not like the classroom one.
So to start with small focus Activities we started with origami!
:
Small and simple ones but definitely improves focus, concentration, vocabulary and the fine motor skills.
:
Tagging a few of u are ready for 7 days of origami comment saying yes and every day we shall try one simple thing with out child. You can add more Friends in the comments to join.

I have this habit of reinforced things with him after breaks, just like we do toy rotation even concepts and Activities need many rounds of redoing after breaks.
This helps them to understand and deepen the concept.

Now why did I mention 4 year old cause by the time the child is 4 he hears a lot of things around him and picks up 75% of this vocabulary. So when u introduce these concepts they won't remer but definitely you are benefiting their vocabulary and their curiousity.

Most of us have Tambola at Home isn’t it. I have been using this not only as a entertaining game but since Shlok was 3 years old we have been doing numbers and number activity. *The smaller tokens can first be used to introduce nos. *Then once recognition establishes you can use to sort and put it in the right place i.e on the board.
*Teach bigger than and smaller than with the tokens. *Teach the before and after and between missing numbers.
*Then we can teach addition with no. 1 and subtraction with no. 1
*The most important and significant is to teach the addition and subtraction of 10.
This is actually called the grid system in mathematics where u can remember and visualise the numbers like addition is to your right and down (in case of 10) and subtraction is left and up (incase of 10).

Not always kids paper and pencils for learning we should variate the materials as it does not only satisfy their need of different sensory materials but also increases their focus and concentration too.
