PTM cm last working day of the academic year 2018-19 at Redbridge juniors international preschool @ Kammasandra and Neeladri road branches

Purple Bloom day was celebrated in Redbridge Juniors International preschool @ Kammasandra and Neeladri road branches. The colour purple was introduced in a very jovial manner. The teacher presented the colour through Montessori manipulative. The children came dressed in Purple and brought along a purple coloured object. They described their toy during circle time. Purple coloured origami basket was made and given as take home.

February 11 is celebrated as Umbrella day. On this day, we honour one of the world's most useful invention, Umbrella. At Redbridge Juniors International preschool @ Kammasandra and Neeladri road branches, we celebrated Umbrella day. The word "Umbrella" evolved from the Latin word umbrella or umbra, meaning shaded or shadow. We taught our tiny tots the uses of Umbrella.
An Umbrella is used to protect ourselves from rain and sun. Photographers also use umbrella for photography. The Chinese are thought to have created the first waterproof umbrella. One of the first umbrella shops in existence opened in 1830 at 53 New Oxford street in London, England. Children enjoyed colouring Umbrella.

Deworming day is a day dedicated to deworm all the school going children of the country to give them a healthy digestive system. It is a government mission held on 10th of February aimed to reduce the cases of worm infection among kids all over India. At Redbridge Juniors International preschool @ Kammasandra and Neeladri road branches, awareness was created among parents regarding deworming. Pamphlets were distributed and importance of deworming was explained to parents.

Painting competition was conducted in Redbridge Juniors International preschool @ Kammasandra and Neeladri road branches. Children displayed their colouring skills, imagination and creativity. Through this activity the children expressed their thoughts and feelings and developed fine motor skills. They participated enthusiastically in the competition. It was a difficult task thereafter for the teacher to shortlist the winners. The artistically coloured sheets were a treat to the eyes. Rewards were given to all the children participated and came up with amazing artwork.

Republic Day was celebrated in Redbridge Juniors International preschool @ Kammasandra and Neeladri road branches. Indian flag was made with little hand prints of our tiny tots. Our students looked awesome with their cheeks painted with Indian flag. The importance of our Indian constitution was told to them. We all sang Vandhe Maatharam together. Sweets were distributed among children.

Pongal is a harvest festival, people thank the sun god for abundant agricultural crops. Sankranti and Pongal celebration was conducted at Redbridge Juniors International Preschool. Colourful kites were made and sticked in drawing book of children. Also Pineal pots were given as take home to children. Children came beautifully dressed and enjoyed the colourful activities to fullest.

As part of Road safety and Transport theme for the month of January 2019, Redbridge Juniors International preschool took their students on an educational field trip to HAL Aerospace Museum on 18/01/2019. The children were eager to discover Air transport of various models, shapes and sizes. They were happy to see Helicopter in motion and curious to know what turbine are used for. We had a wonderful time in garden and park where the children played to their heart content. They had their lunch in picnic area and enjoyed watching fishes in the pool. The man in parachute took their breath away. All the tiny tots were curious and elated at the same time. The visit was awe-inspiring for all our students who came back enlightened.

Brown Bloom day celebration was conducted in Redbridge Juniors International preschool @ Kammasandra and Neeladri road branches. The colour brown was introduced in a very jovial manner. The teacher presented the colour through Montessori manipulative. The children came dressed in Brown and brought along a brown coloured object. They described their toy during circle time. Paper plate nest with cotton birds was made and given away as take home.
