In one of the earlier posts, we spoke about it.

‼️Observe the Child...

❓Can the child work independently?

What does he do with the help you just gave? 🤔

1️⃣ If all is well, the child will take the help and run with it! Of course, it'll take him time to gain control over the movement and for perfection.

2️⃣ If not, we look at ourselves. Did we offer the presentation right? Did i miss some development in the child? Did i offer it too early/late?

3️⃣ Yes, most of the time, the fault lies with the adult.
Except for certain conditions. Then we need to consult the specialist.
👀 Observation is the reason one gains trust in the method! That's how we mature as Montessorians...

"Aided and set free!"
It can be translated in actions for adults....

To show once and let the child do! The show part is IMPORTANT!!

Give the child time to gain mastery over the activity. Most of the time, we want results immediately. We forget the struggle we had to go through while learning something new!

Do NOT do, what a child can do for himself. The ultimate respect you can give to the child. And build up his confidence!

Keep things available so that the child need not come to you for the activities he knows. It does not help the flow of the activity...
