CCA was conducted on the occasion of Independence Day to instill the spirit of patriotism among students.

Through artistic creativity, our students beautifully expressed their love for the nation. From drawings and paintings to posters and crafts, each creation reflected pride, unity, and respect for our freedom fighters.

This initiative aimed to nurture patriotism and remind young minds of the values that make our country strong.

With the core motto "Bold Vision. Brighter Future," BGS World School celebrated the 80th Indian Independence Day with immense pride. This year's celebration was particularly special as we marked the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram.
Our students embodied this spirit by beautifully singing the national song. The speeches delivered by the students were more than just a series of words; they reflected their heartfelt expressions of a deep commitment to be part of the development of our motherland.
It's time for all of us to demonstrate unity in diversity and to protect and develop our nation.

_Kargil Vijay Diwas_ is observed every year on *26th July* to honor the courage and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces during the Kargil War of 1999.

To commemorate the bravery of our soldiers, *BGS World School* conducted a *Recitation Competition* as a CCA activity.

Students participated with great enthusiasm. They recited poems on the themes of patriotism, sacrifice, and national pride.

The event successfully instilled a sense of gratitude, respect, and love for our soldiers among students.

An English Poem Recitation Competition was conducted at BGS World School as part of the CCA activity.

The competition aimed to develop self-confidence, public speaking skills, voice modulation, and a love for poetry among students.

Students from grade 1 to 5 recited poems on various themes such as nature, values, friendship, and patriotism showcasing excellent expression, clarity, and stage presence.

This shloka carries profound significance, yet we often find ourselves reciting it without fully grasping its essence. Our Poojya Mahaswamiji took the time to enlighten us about the dynamic relationship between a student and a guru, emphasizing the vital principle of live and let live, which resonated deeply with everyone present.

Today,16th of July 2026, the campus of BGS World School was filled with an atmosphere of divinity, tradition, and blessings as we celebrated the first traditional event of Jnanankura for the academic year. The occasion commenced with Saraswati Homa, led by our revered Parama Poojya Mahaswamiji.

We were honored to have Dr. Rekha Koushik Kambar, Principal of BES Evening College, and Dr. N Shivram Reddy, CEO of Adichunchanagiri Samstana Mutt, to grace the event. Their insights on parenting for the new generation were particularly well received.

Our little ones were indeed fortunate to receive the blessings of Maa Saraswati and Lord Ganesha, participating in the cherished tradition of Jnanakura. BGS World School takes immense pride in preserving and uplifting our rich traditions and customs.

Our Preprimary little learners had a wonderful time engaging in exciting and meaningful activities, including shadow exploration, pleasant surprises, the concept of Big and Small, fun games, rope pattern making, balancing exercises, learning the vowels A, E, I with CVC words, and understanding feelings and expressions. Every activity encouraged creativity, confidence, language development, coordination, and joyful learning through play.

🌈 Learning is always more meaningful when it’s filled with fun, curiosity, and happy smiles!
