During the inaugural ceremony of the National Symposium hosted by Soundarya College of Law, CEO Mr. Keerthan Kumar delivered a thought-provoking address on the realities of the gig economy and the challenges faced by platform workers in India.

📌 Key Highlights from His Address:
✅ The Rapid Delivery Culture – Groceries and food delivered within minutes often come at the cost of worker exploitation
✅ Digital Platform Realities – Companies neither prepare food nor directly own the workforce, yet generate enormous profits through technological systems and labour management
✅ Harsh Working Conditions – Unrealistic incentive structures, continuous pressure, lack of breaks, and constant time-bound deliveries
✅ Algorithm-Based Exploitation – Workers are often deprived of incentives due to algorithm-based interventions and limited delivery allocations

💡 A Growing Concern:
Mr. Keerthan Kumar expressed concern over the growing number of educated individuals – including MBA graduates, doctors, students, and IT professionals – entering gig work due to employment challenges. Despite increasing job availability, there is a significant gap in employable skills among graduates.
