FAQ - KMAT exam 2013

Delay in submitting the application
---------------------------------------
Last date for submitting applications was 10th July 2013. If you have applied after that or if your application was received after 10th July please do the following.
• Check the following link and follow the instructions to see if your name and application no is there in the pdf. Use the application no along with the DOB to download the hall ticket.

• If your name or application number is not in the list, that means your application is not processed due to delay in receipt.
• In the above case you could visit the designated KMAT 2013 walk in test centres and register as a walk-in candidate. Please visit the following page for instructions

Unable to find or did not receive the application number

All the applications received till 10th July 2013, students will get an acknowledgement SMS on their registered mobile number mentioning their application no. Students are required to use this application no along with DOB to download the hall ticket from the following website

In case if you have not received the application no please follow the following instructions.

Not able to download the hall ticket or incorrect details

If you have received the application number and not able to download the hall ticket, please follow the following instruction.
• Please check carefully and use the application no received on your mobile phone and Date of Birth.
• Use only Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 6 or above for downloading the hall ticket

With no clarity on the share of government quota seats for MBA and MCA this year, the Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges’ Association (KPPGCA) on Wednesday decided to conduct Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) on July 21.

KMAT 2012 – Second Test(Date Revised) is open to students who have not attended the July 22nd 2012 exam. The exam will be conducted on 30th September 2012. Last date to apply 19th September 2012.

KMAT 2012 – Second Test(Tentative) is open to students who have not attended the July 22nd 2012 exam. The exam will be conducted on 9th September 2012(tentative). Please follow the steps below to apply for the exam.

1) Step 1 : Download application form

2) Step 2: Fill up the application form
3) Step 3 :Take a DD in favor of KMAT – 2012 payable at Bangalore
a. For MBA – Rs 1000
b. For MCA – Rs 1000
c. For MBA & MCA – Rs 1100
4) Step 4 : Completed application form along with the DD has to be sent to the following address

Click on the link below. Enter your Roll no (Refer your hall ticket) and date of birth to download the score card.

Note: If the students are unable to download the score card from the website, you are requested to send an email to [email protected].

The email should contain your full name, application no, roll no, test centre of your exam, phone no & the error facing. The subject line of the email has to be "KMAT 2012 - Score card Download issue".

Next Steps

1) Score card will be issued to your postal address in 3 weeks
2) After receiving the score card approach college of your choice for seats. The list of participating colleges are available in the below link.
