🚨 Supreme Court Pushes for Stronger Implementation of PoSH Act Nationwide

In a landmark move, the Supreme Court has directed all states and UTs to expedite compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace ( ) Act, 2013. The Court emphasized the importance of setting up Internal Complaints Committees ( ) or local committees to ensure the safety of women at the workplace. Additionally, a nationwide survey is underway to identify workplaces lacking these committees, with results expected by March 2025.

This judgment underscores the Court’s commitment to creating safer workplaces across India, holding district officers accountable and appointing nodal officers at the taluk level for effective enforcement.
