The CST Bylakuppe was upgraded in 15th March 1979 and R.L.Goswamy was the then principal. In Exile or Outside.

CST Bylakuppe is one of the oldest school CTSA born in 1962, there is a three branches schools and one main schools: Camp No1 & Camp 2- Kailashpura Branch, Camp No 3& 4- Arlikumari Branch and Camp No5 & 6 – Gulledhalla Branch respectively. Furthermore CST, Chowkur which was under CST, CVP Bylakuppe was brought under CST Bylakuppe. This Settlement is one of the richest Tibetan settlements in India
