When i first started out with freelancing, i got my first content writing gig for a mere 100 rupees per article! But the idea of becoming financially independent at the age of 20 had me intrigued, and i kept going regardless of how ridiculously low the pay was!

I knew i was worth more than that, and will figure out along the way how to get paid better... But i didnt know freelancing was the path! ... I did not know that freelancing was so rewarding and that it can pay me anywhere between $1000 - 2000 per month...

Sharing this story for you to serve as an inspiration to get started. You may not get where you want immediately. Slowly but surely it will happen if you have put your mind, heart and soul to achieving something!

Personal branding is the ultimate game changer when it comes to attracting clients, generating revenue and scaling your biz.

Sure you can send multiple cold emails and bag those deals but nothing speaks volumes more than a solid personal brand.

Copywriting is not about manipulation. So many writers get this wrong. They think it's about tricking the customer into purchasing the product. No! As long as your product or service is good, you don't need cheap tactics to sell.

A good copy is informative, persuasive and guides the customer towards an action.

My first project...

I still remember my first project. It was a website copy . I got my client through LI. This wasn't the first time I had gotten paid for an assignment but as a copywriter it was a first, and firsts are always special I guess ❤️

When I got my paycheck, a meagre $50 for a homepage, I jumped with joy like it was the biggest achievement of my life!

There's something about getting paid online that's so liberating, joyous and fulfilling. It kinda hits you different.

Getting your salary every month credited to your account is sure exciting but nothing beats the satisfaction of getting paid for your freelance projects.

Till today, each time I get paid, I feel blessed and have gratitude in my heart. It's a dream to get paid writing, something that comes so naturally to me.

Okay. So for 5 months straight I was making $10 everyday without doing anything on Fiverr.

Does it sound too unreal..? How did I do that? Well it's no rocket science!!!

I just followed a simple method:

I created my How-to guide on writing kick-ass content that stands out!

I priced it for as low as $10, please don't come for me!!! Yes it was filled with value & was way more valuable than what I had charged but it's only because back then I did not know how to price.

& yes I received an order almost everyday for this guide on Fiverr platform, which means it made me money even when I was sleeping...

This was one simple passive income method that I followed that made me $10 each day without having to work.

Fiverr is a legit platform that can make you money even today, provided you use it properly.

Many people are of the opinion that Fiverr is an over-saturated platform, and only those who took an early entry have succeeded there...

Not true. You can succeed on Fiverr as a complete beginner. Fiverr also gives fresh sellers the opportunity to rank their gigs in the first page!

Anyways Fiverr is not the only place the get clients. You can leverage different platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram and even Twitter to find clients, get work, get noticed and sell your services.
