The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research, Bengaluru Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir - SSRVM conducted a residential camp at Konagal village, Ramanagara district, from April 17, 2026, to April 21, 2026.
Congratulations to Dr. Raksh*th K Ram, NSS officer, Principal Dr. Sajitha Keriyott, Vice Principal Dr Sudheer B.R., PG Coordinator Dr. Seema Pradeep for their unwavering support and guidance.

Dr. Naveen Bhanamukala, Professor and Head, Department of PG studies in Shalakya Ta**ra, provided 50 spectacles. Dr. Supriya stayed throughout the camp and assisted in all ways. Dr. Sree Jith R, Dr. Ranjana, Dr. Manasa, and Dr. Keya Madam contributed to the medical camp.

We are thankful to all the HODs for deputing consultants and PG scholars for the medical camp. We are also thankful to the NSS Coordinators, Dr. Ahana Balakrishnan and Dr. Saran Babu, and everyone who contributed to the successful conduction of the
NSS Residential camp.

The camp concluded with great enthusiasm and active participation, effectively achieving its objectives. A total of 106 patients benefited from the camp. The camp included a Health Awareness Talk on important health practices.

A heartfelt, sincere appreciation to all volunteers and participants for their dedication towards the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, promoting cleanliness and social responsibility. The Cultural Events added vibrancy and unity, making the camp both engaging and memorable.

On February 13, 2026, the Annual Day of Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research, Bengaluru, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The event served as a significant occasion to reflect upon the institution’s achievements and to honour the talents and accomplishments of its students and faculty.

The Annual Day commenced with the ritualistic Shisyopanayana and Dhanvantari Homa for the newly admitted undergraduate and postgraduate scholars of the institute in Nagarjuna Hall at 9:30 AM. This ceremony was conducted to invoke the blessings of Lord Dhanvantari upon the institution. The evening Annual Day program commenced at 5:30 PM with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Vd. Allamprabhu Gudda, President of the BOA – NCISM.

Dr. Anandanpillai Divyasri R, the Master of the Ceremony, played a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless ex*****on of the entire event. By facilitating smooth transitions between segments, maintaining time management, and coordinating with various teams, Dr. Divyasri R contributed significantly to the overall success of the occasion.

The ceremony commenced with the customary lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, Vd. Allamprabhu Gudda sir, Chairman, Commodore H G Harsha Ji, Trustee, Smt. Jaina Desai Ji, and Principal, Dr. Sajitha Keriyott. This symbolic act represented knowledge and enlightenment. Subsequently, a melodious invocation song was performed by Dr. Manaswi Hegde, first-year PG Scholar.

The gathering was addressed by Dr. Roopa, the Cultural Convener, who extended a warm welcome to all attendees and expressed their enthusiasm for the celebration.

The Oath-taking ceremony was conducted by Dr. Sajitha K, the Principal, and Dr. Sudheer BR, the Vice Principal for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholars. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Athira Sreekumar, who guided the scholars in pledging to uphold the spirit and knowledge of Ayurveda.

The college’s accomplishments in various domains were meticulously presented by the respective heads and committee members. The Kalasri report (Cultural report) was delivered by Dr. Savitha Shenoy, a member of the cultural committee. Subsequently, the Kreedasri report (Sports report) was presented by Dr. Saran Babu, the Sports convener, and Dr. Sorubini Loganathan, a member of the literary committee, presented the Sahityasri report (Literary report) for the previous year. These reports underscored the diverse achievements of our students in their respective fields, both within the college and at the university and national levels.

The NSS report for the fiscal year 2025-26 was presented by Dr. Ahana Balakrishnan, the NSS coordinator. The report underscored the institution’s unwavering commitment to community service, encompassing medical camps, programs, and awareness drives aimed at fostering a healthier society and environment.

Dr. Mahesh CD, the Research Head of the Institution, highlighted the academic accomplishments of UG students and PG scholars who received grants from both RGUHS and CCRAS. Additionally, Dr. Drmaheshcd Dyamappa emphasised the ongoing research projects funded by various bodies by the faculty.

Dr. Sajitha K., Principal, presented the Annual Report, providing an overview of the college’s academic accomplishments, extracurricular activities, research endeavours, programs, workshops, and significant milestones achieved during the academic year. The report also recognised the dedication of the faculty members and the diligent efforts of the students.

The hospital report was presented by Dr. Mahesh TN, Medical Superintendent, Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science & Research Hospital. The report outlined the services provided, the enhancements implemented, and the various achievements of the hospital over the past year.

The evening’s most notable event was the prize distribution ceremony, meticulously organised by Dr. Padma Bhat and Dr. Prarthana T. During this ceremony, meritorious students were honoured for their exceptional achievements in academics, sports, and various co-curricular activities, including the in-house YUVARANG – Annual Meet 2025. The awards were presented by the Chief Guest and other distinguished dignitaries.

The Chief Guest, Vd. Allamprabhu Gudda sir, was introduced to the gathering by Dr. Savitha Kudari. After being warmly welcomed and felicitated, Vd. Allamprabhu Gudda sir addressed the assembly of students, faculty members, parents, and other dignitaries. He expressed his gratitude for being invited to such a distinguished occasion and acknowledged the institution’s efforts in organising the grand event.

He emphasized the importance of education in shaping responsible citizens and future doctors. He encouraged the students to work hard with determination, maintain discipline, and develop strong moral values. Stressing the significance of innovation and adaptability in today’s competitive world, he motivated students to continuously upgrade their skills and remain confident in facing challenges with the changes in the curriculum. He also praised the management, faculty, and staff for their dedication towards the holistic development of students.
The address was highly motivating and left a deep impact on the audience. The speech concluded with words of encouragement, urging students to aim high and strive for excellence.

The Chief Guest’s address was truly inspiring and became one of the most memorable moments of the evening.
Following this, the presidential address was delivered by the Chairman – SSRVM Trust – Commodore H G Harsha Ji, highlighting the vision and mission of the college and emphasising the importance of providing quality education combined with strong ethical values. Addressing the students, he encouraged them to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the institution. He also advised them to cultivate discipline, dedication, and perseverance to achieve success in life. He highlighted the importance of balancing academics with extracurricular activities for overall personality development. The Presidential Address concluded with words of appreciation for the award winners and best wishes to all students for their future endeavours.

The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Malavi Praveen Shayan, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, faculty members, students, parents and everyone who contributed to the success of the celebration.
The program ended with the National Anthem.

The cultural program that followed was a vibrant showcase of talent. Students presented a variety of performances, including classical and contemporary dances. Each performance was met with loud applause and appreciation from the audience. The Pramod Music Band took over for the evening, mesmerising the audience with their performance.

The Annual Day celebration was a grand success, leaving everyone with cherished memories and renewed motivation for the coming year.

On January 28, 2026, the Department of Integrative Health and Translation Research organised an FDP on scientific writing in collaboration with IQAC. Thirty-eight teaching staff participated in the event.
Dr. Nagaraj L, the resource person, gave a wonderful session on the workshop "Science of Scientific writing". Sumathi Jayaram, Director of Sri Sri Institute of Advanced Research, was the chief guest. Principal Dr. Sajitha Keriyott presided over the event, and Drmaheshcd Dyamappa coordinated the event.

The Department of PG Studies in Shalya Ta**ra, Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research, Bengaluru at Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir - SSRVM in association with IQAC, successfully conducted a CME & Workshop on “Clinical Application of Marma” on 29th Jan 2026.

The inauguration began with an invocation prayer and lamp lighting, graced by Principal Dr. Sajitha Keriyott, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Naveen Venkatesaiah, Dr. Sweta Tyagi, and our esteemed guest speaker Dr. Saifudheen Gurukkal P., HOD, Shalya Ta**ra, KMCT Ayurveda College.

The workshop featured a morning academic session at Nagarjuna Hall and an afternoon clinical session at the Shalya Ta**ra OPD, providing participants with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical exposure on Marma points in Ayurvedic practice.

The programme was highly enriching, enhancing understanding and practical skills in Shalya Ta**ra.
