We are proud to share a remarkable achievement by our student Shreesha from CSE(Cyber Security) 6th Sem and team LineLens, who represented our department at the OpenAI Academy × NxtWave National Generative AI Buildathon 2026 — one of India’s largest nationwide innovation challenges focused on building real-world solutions using OpenAI APIs.
Out of 95,000+ registrations across India, the team progressed through multiple competitive phases and was selected for the National Grand Finale held in New Delhi on February 16–17, 2026, where they presented their live working prototype before a distinguished national jury panel that included leaders from OpenAI, JPMorgan Chase, MakeMyTrip, AICTE, and Chiratae Ventures.
🏆 Achievement:
3rd Runner-Up (Top 5 teams nationally) with Cash prize of Rs. 50,000 among thousands of participating teams.
The team’s innovative solution — integrating browsing context, CRM memory, and AI-driven actions into a structured intelligent workflow — received special appreciation from senior leaders at OpenAI. The team was encouraged to share their demo and continue engagement for further technical discussions and growth.
We are also delighted to share that the team received interest from the Maruti Suzuki Nurture Program to explore potential incubation opportunities.
This achievement reflects the spirit of innovation, technical excellence, and problem-solving culture nurtured in our department.
