Udaval Payattu, one of the most intense forms of fight in Kalaripayattu, is practised without shield. The swordsman must depend entirely upon his blade, employing it alike for rapid assault and for the warding off of the strokes.

Glimpses from the Kalaripayattu Summer Classes conducted by Kalari Manoeuvre for the students of Iris Florets World School and Meridian International School, Hyderabad. The 30 day introductory Kalaripayattu program concluded on 30th of May with a vibrant performance featuring around 40 young participants, showcasing the skills and discipline they acquired during the course.
