For decades, marks have been treated as the most visible measure of a child’s success.
But the world students are stepping into today values something more - the ability to think critically, solve problems, communicate ideas, and adapt to change.
Academic performance will always matter. Yet it is only one part of a much larger picture.
Perhaps the real responsibility of education is not just to prepare students for exams, but to prepare them for life beyond them.

Our kids are already using AI… but we are failing on one important thing.
Guiding them in the right direction.
In schools and in homes, children are using it daily - often faster than adults can understand it.
The real responsibility is not restricting technology, but guiding its use with judgement and values.
If we want future-ready children, we must raise responsible users first.

In every initiative I take on, I ask myself one question: Will this create a meaningful impact for learners?
My appointment as Vice-President of the BRICS Educational Film and Media Association (BEFMA) is not a title - it is a responsibility. A responsibility to strengthen how educational stories are told and experienced across geographies.
Education is no longer confined to classrooms. Film and media shape mindsets, aspirations, and collaboration at scale. When used thoughtfully, they can inspire and democratize access to learning.
The journey continues.

It was a pleasure to be Chief Guest at Tenbroeck Academy’s Annual Day, Tatva - Echoes of the Elements.
In a short span of four years, the school has grown into a commendable example of holistic education - thoughtfully balancing academics, sports, arts, and co-curricular development.
Under the leadership of Brinda Srinivas, the institution’s progress has been both purposeful and inspiring. The confidence and talent displayed by the students were a reflection of the culture being nurtured within the school.
My best wishes to the entire Tenbroeck community as they continue this journey of excellence.

For decades, success has been measured through speed, scale, and visibility.
Yet in education, some of the most impactful leadership I have witnessed has been quieter - nurturing students, stabilising teams, and shaping institutional culture.
Much of this work is carried by women, yet rarely recognised in how we define success.
Perhaps it is time we measured success not just by how high we rise, but by how many lives we lift.
A reflection this International Women’s Day.

It was a special Friday.
Spent time with Dr. Abraham Ebenezer, a legend in Indian school education, along with Anu Monga, Founder of .
Like many in Bangalore, I grew up hearing about Dr. Ebenezer and watching his leadership at Bishop Cotton Boys’ School during its remarkable years. For many of us, the institution under his stewardship represented what strong schooling should stand for — academics, values, discipline, and character.
What stood out in our conversation was his unwavering belief that education must go beyond marks and results to shaping responsible, thinking individuals.
A privilege to spend time with educators who have quietly shaped generations. Some conversations stay with you. This was one of them.

The Film Education Summit organised by as part of the was a wonderful opportunity to interact with film makers and producers from the Arab world. The deliberations and panels give me a good insight into the industry of the region. The curation and organisation of the event by .ali was immaculate. Events and dialogues like these are essential for the growth of meaningful films in the region.

At the ExcelOne Annual Summit, I joined some of India’s top education leaders to challenge the way we view school assessments.
It’s time we stopped asking “What’s the score?” and started asking “What’s the story?”
When assessment becomes a mirror—not a label—it transforms learning. And when schools benchmark themselves with global tools like PISA for Schools, the conversation moves from ranking to reflection.
Proud that is supporting this shift. Grateful for the voices in the room pushing for assessments that grow teachers, guide students, and inform real change.

Teachers from India for the World! 🌏✨
It was inspiring to be at the IB Global Conference in Singapore as the Chairperson of TAISI, engaging in powerful conversations with the IB Global Leadership Team about how we can nurture and empower the next generation of teachers from India for the world.
From making teaching aspirational to driving systemic change, we explored how governments, universities, corporates, and society can come together to position India as a global leader in education.
🌿 Exciting News: We also renewed the TAISI-IB partnership — a collaboration that has thrived for nearly two decades. It’s a proud moment to continue working together to support schools and elevate international education in India.
Here’s to celebrating teachers as nation-builders and global contributors. Let’s shape the future of learning, together!
