CME - DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY

Event Date: 12th January 2024

Department of Psychiatry will be conducting a CME on: “Demystifying Dislocation- Newer Paradigms” on the 12th of January (Friday) 2024. The venue is College Lecture Hall 1. The program will commence at 9.00 am and conclude by 1:00 pm. All teaching faculty, postgraduates, and interns are cordially invited for the programme.

GUEST LECTURE - DEPARTMENT OF RADIOLOGY

Department of Radiology will be organizing a guest lecture by Dr. Chandra Shekhar, Rheumatologist (ChanRe Rheumatology and Immunology Centre and Research), and Dr. Renuka Chandra Shekar, Lab Director & Pathologist, (ChanRe Hospital) on 10th January 2024 from 11.00 am to 1.15 pm in new Lecture Hall complex. All HODs' and teaching faculty, postgraduates, and interns are cordially invited to the Programme.

INAUGURATION OF CT MACHINE

Event Date: 10th January 2024

The inauguration of newly installed 128 slice CT machine will be held on Wednesday 10th January 2024, at 10:30 am at Department of Radiology, MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital Campus. The chief guest for the occasion is Dr. Chandra Shekhar, Rheumatologist (ChanRe Rheumatology and Immunology Centre and Research). Dr MJ Mohan, Secretary, Venkatesha Education Society & Chairman, MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital will preside over the function. All HODs' are cordially invited to the Programme.

Inauguration Of Smt Rajalakshmi Block And UG & PG Programmes

Description:

Smt Rajalakshmi Block: The new Lecture Hall Complex was inaugurated by Honourable Medical Education Minister Dr Sharan Prakash Patil on 30th Oct 2023. This Block has been benchmarked in terms of design and utilities. The main attraction of the complex is its sustainable design with the use of daylight and natural ventilation with the building orientation planned to complement it.
It has five huge classrooms with the capacity to accommodate around 325 students each. These air-conditioned classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities like audio and video conferencing, digital podium, laser projector, and the latest technology, providing the best possible learning experience to its students. These new-age lecture halls are designed to serve as e-classrooms for live streaming of lectures and recording facility. The central atrium of each of the buildings has an interactive space for the students.
