RVIM proudly presents ANVESHAN 2026, a premier student research symposium with the theme "Pioneering the Future of Business Research." This energetic platform invites undergraduate and postgraduate scholars to explore, innovate and influence today’s rapidly changing global business landscape.
We welcome extended abstracts (1,000 words) or full manuscripts (4,000–5,000 words) across multiple domains: Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics, HR, Operations Management, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics and more. Submissions must be emailed to [email protected] by 25th April 2026, and abstracts should follow a structured format covering purpose, methodology and findings.
A registration fee of ₹500 is due by 4th May 2026. Participants gain a chance to win one of two ₹5,000 Best Paper Awards. All accepted works will be published in ISBN-indexed proceedings, and select high-quality papers will be considered for Scopus or ABDC journals.

RVIM in collaboration with Swakruta Charitable Trust, hosted a Women’s Day panel discussion on the theme “Inspiring Inclusiveness” at its Jayanagar campus, Bengaluru.

The event featured speakers from diverse professional backgrounds including Sneha Chandrashekar, Santosh Shivling, Aditi Mohan, Dr. Anuradha Chatterjee, Dr. Swetha Venugopal, Dr. K. Aparna Rao, and Simmi Shibu, who shared insights on inclusivity, leadership, and empowering women across workplaces and communities. The session was moderated by Dr. Sumera Aluru.

The programme also included a felicitation ceremony honouring women achievers from various walks of life such as BBMP employees, auto drivers, teachers and small business owners for their contributions to community building.

The event saw active participation from students and faculty and concluded with further activities led by the Swakruta Foundation.

RV Institute of Management has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Skyline University Nigeria, marking a significant step toward strengthening international academic collaboration.

The partnership aims to foster global academic engagement, student and faculty exchanges, joint research initiatives, and knowledge-sharing opportunities between the two institutions. By connecting academic ecosystems across borders, the collaboration seeks to enrich learning experiences and create pathways for interdisciplinary and cross-cultural academic exposure.

The MoU signing ceremony reflects RVIM’s continued commitment to expanding its global academic network and preparing students for leadership roles in an increasingly interconnected world.

RV Institute of Management hosted RVIM Challenge 4.0, an inter-collegiate budget analysis competition organised by the Centre for Financial Markets and Research (CFMR) on 10 February 2026. The event, themed “Igniting Growth: The 2026 Economic Engine,” brought together 37 student teams from management institutions across Bengaluru for a dynamic and intellectually engaging academic exchange.

Designed as a flagship initiative, the competition encouraged students to critically examine the Union Budget 2026, analyse policy directions, and assess its implications for India’s economic growth and sectoral priorities. Teams presented their insights in a structured, parliamentary-style format, promoting evidence-based reasoning, public speaking and collaborative research.

Participants explored six key focus areas aligned with India’s development agenda, including MSMEs and manufacturing, tax reforms, employability and upskilling, digital infrastructure and AI, agriculture and rural development, and sustainability and green energy. Teams were evaluated on analytical depth, clarity of argument, policy relevance and presentation skills.

With a total prize pool of ₹1 lakh, the competition recognised excellence across categories, awarding ₹10,000 for first place and ₹5,000 for second place in each focus area. A special “RVIM Challenge Champion – Best Parliamentarian” award, carrying a cash prize of ₹10,000, honoured exceptional articulation, analytical insight and policy understanding.
