Celebrate the legacy of my father, Sri T. Krishnamacharya who would have been 136 years old this month and whose teachings transformed modern yoga. We'll discuss his profound influence, alongside the contributions of his students, like B.K.S. Iyengar, Pattabhi Jois, T.K.V. Desikachar, and T.K. Sribhashyam. Jan Schmidt-Garre, maker of "Breath of the Gods" and Ryan C. Leier will join us for an insightful conversation.

We are honoured to have our teacher, Sri Shubha back in our online studio from May 1- June 19! She will share yoga as she learned it from her father, Sri Krishnamacharya, including chanting prayer and mantra, pranayama, and asana. She will also share stories of her father and yoga and Hindu philosophy and spirituality. Wednesday mornings from 5:30-7am PST from May 1-June 19 (or register for May 1- May22/ May 29- June 19). Grateful to have hosted teachers and students from Yogakshemam . Seeing a few of them after 2 decades, felt like a family reunion.

After their extensive 2+ weeks of travel, we decided to do a soothing pranayama session to relax. After this we had a discussion about my father , my brother , and upon their interest, we delved into the topics of Alwars, Andal, and Thiruppavai. Their genuine curiosity, depth of knowledge, and humble demeanor left me in awe. Truly a blessed way to spend a weekend! 🙏
