How do you build an ideal anganwadi? How do you inculcate the quality principles of ECD when building one?

Participants at the CBPS' ECD workshops were tasked with being the custodian of one principle. The groups attempted to construct an ideal anganwadi, responding to shocks and making choices to ensure quality service delivery. Conducted in English, Hindi, and Kannada, the sessions were attended by researchers, students, government officials, and CSO representatives.

| Du Saraswathi is a Kannada poet, playwright, and activist who has championed caste and gender justice for over four decades. Her performance features two complementary components:

The first is a theatrical interpretation of “Santimmi Pakshipurana”, which will examine masculinity through a Dalit feminist lens. This will be followed by a reading of the story 'Bachchisu', which explores the impacts of urbanisation and the caste system through the lives of municipal workers.

Following this, she will lead the audience in a thought-provoking discussion to further explore the themes raised.

Watch Du Saraswati live at Neeti Habba on 23 November, 6:30 pm onwards at the Infosys Science Foundation Auditorium, Bengaluru.
