From 17 to 18 PhDs in just two weeks!
Our academic community is reaching new heights. We are incredibly pleased to share that on May 19, our Research Associate, Education Research Team, Krithika M.C cracked her PhD defence. The four-year research evaluates the “Effectiveness of Constructionist Teaching Package in Mathematics for Enhancing Computational Thinking Skills of Primary School Students.”
Awarded by the Central University of Kerala and supervised by Prof. Amruth G. Kumar, her research offers a vital perspective on human-centric cognitive development. Her study shows how a constructionist mathematics teaching package can actively enhance primary students' computational thinking skills and strengthen core 21st-century skills: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication and Collaboration.

What if the thing you fear most is actually the doorway to something greater? This is a story about a beggar who dared to ring a bell that no one else would touch — and in doing so, built a kingdom beyond what anyone could imagine. At its heart, it's a reminder for every student standing at the edge of an uncertain future: anxiety shrinks your vision, but courage expands it. The forest isn't always what it seems.
Authored by our Founder and Chief Mentor, Dr. H.S.Nagaraja, this week's Mentor's Desk Blog explores the nuances of courage, fear and potential.

Beyond classrooms and textbooks, our Anveshana student researchers are stepping into the world of real scientific exploration.
Working under the mentorship of Principal Investigator Dr. Ajit Singh and Co-PIs Swetha N and Padmapriya R, students of Earth Sciences are exploring the fascinating topic: “Geoelectrical Investigation for Evaluating Lake Stratigraphy and Rainwater Recharge Potential.”
But this journey goes far beyond laboratory experiments. From studying samples in state-of-the-art research facilities to visiting lakes, fields, and geological sites, students are learning science where it truly comes alive - in nature itself.
Through every field visit, observation, and experiment, they are uncovering how water moves beneath the earth, understanding lake ecosystems, and exploring the hidden relationship between geology and sustainability.
At Anveshana, students are not just learning concepts; they are becoming researchers, problem-solvers, and explorers driven by curiosity and discovery.
Because sometimes, the greatest classroom is the world around us.
A simple magnet turns into a fascinating discovery.
No phones. No maps. No GPS. Just a compass and the invisible forces of the Earth at work.
What guides the needle? Why does it always find its way?
At Prayoga Institute of Education Research, we believe science is best understood when experienced. This learning experience contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4 (Quality Education).
As the summer is set to bid goodbye, do it yourself before the schools reopen -- explore concepts not just by learning them but by doing them.
Watch the video to uncover the science behind direction and do it yourself at home.
Anveshana – where science transcends all barriers.
She handles the lab equipments with ease, does experiments without any inhibitions. She is differently abled but she is doing different things - perhaps with the same or even more energy and rigour than any of her peers. Meet tenth grader Pravalika Maram, a student from NAFL, Bangalore, who is a part of Anveshana 2026 cohort.
Guided by Principal Investigator Dr. Venkata Krishna Bayineni and Co-Principal Investigator Suhita Rao, she is working on an interesting project to explore lipase inhibitors from Streptomyces and their potential role in obesity treatment.
At Prayoga Institute of Education Research, inclusion is practiced through opportunity, empathy, collaboration and the belief that every curious mind belongs to science.
In alignment with United Nations SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities, Anveshana programme is successfully into its fifth year, working towards nurturing future scientists.

Looking forward to fostering innovation and creating meaningful academic and research outcomes through this partnership.
What happens when high school students are given the opportunity to engage with global academic and industry leaders?
At Anveshana 2026, students recently interacted with distinguished visitors including Ms. Lean Hill, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Student Success at the University of New South Wales, Professor Payyazhi Jayashree, Dean and Professor of Management at the University of Wollongong in Dubai and Dr. Renata Jovanovic, Chief Scientific Officer at Deloitte South Asia.
From presenting their research projects to discussing methodologies and scientific thinking, the students showcased what happens when young minds are trusted with real questions and real research.
Because the future of innovation begins when students are encouraged to think beyond textbooks.

At a time when educating a girl was considered an act of defiance, Savitribai Phule picked up a piece of chalk and changed the course of history. Facing stones, slurs, and relentless opposition, she walked to school every single day — not just to teach, but to prove that every woman, every child, every forgotten soul deserved the dignity of an education. Her legacy lives on in every classroom, and in every girl who dares to dream.
In this week's Mentor's Desk blog by our founder and chief mentor, Dr. H. S. Nagaraja, we get to read more about this force of a woman and her relentless struggle for a cause.
