Same idea, same product, different street. One shop waits all day for customers; the other can’t keep up with the queue.
Most first-time founders spend months deciding what to sell. Very few spend even a week deciding where to sell it. And for an offline business, location often decides whether you survive.
Look at how demand follows the right spot:
• Photocopy & printing shop → outside a district court or college
• Supplement store → next door to a busy gym
• Café → inside an IT park or office hub
• Car wash → beside a mall or large parking area
• Flower & puja shop → near a temple
Nothing about the product changed. Only the address did.
The right location brings you customers who already need what you sell, visibility without spending on ads, and people who come back again and again because you’re on their daily route.
So before you sign a rent agreement, do this: go to the area at different times of the day, count how many of your target customers actually pass by, and see what already pulls a crowd there. Put your business where your customers already are.
Sometimes the product isn’t the problem. The location is.
