The decision comes in order to tackle the growing parking crisis and traffic congestion in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh virtually inaugurated the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile production unit at the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor in Lucknow on Sunday, amid rising military tensions with Pakistan. The facility is designed to manufacture 80 to 100 missiles annually.
Built at a cost of Rs 300 crore, the production unit will produce the BrahMos missiles, which has a range of 290 to 400 km and a top speed of Mach 2.8. Developed by BrahMos Aerospace, a joint venture between India and Russia, the missile can be launched from land, sea, or air and follows a “fire and forget” guidance system.

Pakistan Army soldiers were killed when their vehicle was hit by an IED in Balochistan, in an attack claimed by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a separatist group fighting for the province's independence.

Utilizing Rafale jets equipped with SCALP and HAMMER missiles, the Indian Air Force conducted a 23-minute precision strike on locations including , Muzaffarabad, Kotli, and Sialkot. These sites were identified as hubs for groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen .
Reports indicate that 70 were eliminated during the operation. Additionally, a Pakistani JF-17 fighter jet was reportedly shot down over Pulwama's Pampore region.
