With a century of service in commerce and industry, it is no wonder that the FKCCI stands as one of the five foremost chambers in the country apart from being the oldest parent chamber of any state in India.The Federation is a member of national bodies like FICCI, ASSOCHAM and also the International Chamber of Commerce. 🤝 Strengthening Karnataka–Dubai Business Ties

The Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) and Dubai Chambers have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen trade, investment and business cooperation between Karnataka and Dubai.

The MoU was signed by H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President & CEO, Dubai Chambers, and Smt. Uma Reddy, President, FKCCI, at FKCCI, Bengaluru.

The partnership will focus on facilitating B2B engagements, business matchmaking, sector-specific collaborations, enhanced market access and international expansion, creating new opportunities for businesses from Karnataka and Dubai.

With Karnataka’s strengths in technology, manufacturing, MSMEs, startups, aerospace and innovation, and Dubai’s position as a global hub for trade, investment and international business, the collaboration aims to build stronger and mutually beneficial business linkages.

The MoU signing followed a closed-door leadership meeting and FKCCI Business Roundtable, bringing together key stakeholders to explore opportunities for deeper economic engagement.

The occasion was also attended by Shri T. Sariram Prasad, President Elect, FKCCI; Smt. Susheema Vidhyaratnaraj, Chairperson, International Affairs Committee, FKCCI, and other dignitaries.

Smt. Uma Reddy, President, FKCCI, along with Shri B. P. Shashidhar, Sr. Vice President Elect, Dr. Balaji Rao, Chairman, Tourism Committee, and Smt. Rupa Rani, Programme Coordinator, Tourism Committee, FKCCI, had the privilege of meeting Shri K. J. George, Hon’ble Minister for Energy & Tourism, Government of Karnataka, to seek his esteemed support for the 3rd Edition of FKCCI’s Tourism Convention & FKCCI Tourism Excellence Awards 2026, scheduled for 17th September 2026 at FKCCI, Bengaluru.

The delegation extended an invitation to the Hon’ble Minister to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, with the cooperation and support of the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka.

Adding further significance to the occasion, the Hon’ble Minister released the brochure of the 3rd Edition of FKCCI’s Tourism Convention & FKCCI Tourism Excellence Awards 2026, marking an important step towards celebrating Karnataka’s rich tourism heritage, strengthening collaboration, and unlocking the immense potential of the State’s tourism sector.
