State seeks Rs 51000 crore for Bangalore.........

Bangalore infrastructure development tops the government’s agenda; Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has asked the Finance Commission for a special package of Rs 51140 crore to give Bangalore a makeover over the next 5 years. The fund required for Bangalore’s development is pegged at Rs 93041 crore for the Plan period 2016-20. But Karnataka has said it can generate Rs 41901 crore on its own.
