Sri. G.V. Krishnaprasad's 3rd year punyasmarane concert.
The concert was also a joint tribute to Smt. Vid. Jayashree Varadarajan (Founder/artistic Director Sri Rama Lalitha Kala Mandir, Sunnyvale, CA - USA) who also attained the lord's feet recently.
The occasion was also graced by accomplished violinist and Sangeeth Natak Academy awardee Vid. H.K. Venkatram who spoke fondly about Sri. G.V. Krishna Prasad.

It is with immense sadness and grief that I share the information of passing away of my sister Vid Jayashree Varadarajan, who was residing in California. She was associated with SRLKM from its infancy and took an active part in all the activities of the mandira. Later, after moving to the US, she started a music school by the same name and contributed to the enrichment of carnatic music in the bay area. We at SRLKM pay our tributes to Smt Jayashree Varadarajan for her yeoman service in propagating carnatic music. A life well lived and accomplished.
